I was fortunate to be born and raised on Vancouver Island; for the past 30 years I've had the honour of living on the west coast in Ucluelet. It truly is a wonderful place to live and throughout my many years here I've been involved in many celebrations from the decorating to the flowers and food. At the start of my career I trained and became a hair stylist allowing me to use my creative energy. Hairstyling brought me to Ucluelet and I enjoyed that for a number of years. Then a weekend job came up in a small flower shop here in Ucluelet. Within a couple of weeks I started to manage the store and I found my passion for flowers and my eye for design. Several years ago I opened Flowers By Sandra and it has truly been my dream come true. I enjoy working with the people and creating unique floral designs for weddings, festivals, anniversaries and birthdays. The smiles on their faces, whatever the occasion, are truly my reward.
